What is the District 3 Green Schools Group?
A dedicated coalition of parent volunteers working to green their D3 public schools.


What does D3 Green Schools Group do?
We meet about every other month to learn from one another and also to hear from expert panels,

government representatives and to tour facilities such as the SIMS recycling plant. 
We've partnered with DoE Office of Sustainability & Teacher’s College to hold 1st Annual Conference for
 Parents Making Sustainable Change in NYC Schools and currently working on launch of Garden Train D3.
